The Yellow Tang (Zebrasoma flavescens) has bright yellow in color. It is one of the most popular marine aquarium fish, though in its natural state, it lives in reefs. The yellow tang spawns around a full moon, eats algae, and has a white barb, located just before the tail fin, to protect itself.

Size: About 5″.

Fish history: Purchased small size and quarantined from Carl’s Aquarium in November 2019.

Tank history: AP Corals quarantines everything wet before putting them in the display tank. Pest free tank and nothing has been added to this tank since July 2024.

Not yet ready for pickup. Once order is confirmed, I will start to catch/trap it and will let you know once I have caught it. It may take weeks or even after I sell most of the corals before I can catch it.
